Jigsaw was founded by James Phipps in 2001, after leaving his job at a national estate agency. After years on the inside, he realised something had to change: mortgage advice was being treated as a formality, not a priority, and customers weren’t getting the guidance they truly needed.

James knew there was a better way. He launched Jigsaw as an independent, client-first mortgage and protection service, one where people come first, not property sales. That principle still defines everything we do today.
