Jigsaw was founded by James Phipps in 2001 with one simple mission to offer mortgage advice that puts people first. After years working in an estate agency, James saw how rushed and impersonal mortgage advice had become, and how often clients were left to figure things out alone.

Today, that original mission still shapes everything we do keep the process personal, protect your interests like they’re our own, and make mortgages and protection feel simpler, not more stressful.

James is the founder of Jigsaw and has over 30 years’ experience in property, mortgages and estate agency. He’s helped thousands of clients secure the right mortgage and will personally help you negotiate a better price for the house you want to buy. James is known for his no-nonsense clarity, attention to detail, and ability to explain things that banks and brokers often overcomplicate. The Jigsaw Independent mantra is that " we take the puzzle out of mortgages"

Wayne Young

Wayne has 26 years in the mortgage and estate agency business. "half my life it's all I have known" He is dedicated to making sure that clients get the best possible mortgage and saving them as much as possible. He enjoys "holding your hand" through out the process.

Collette Waugh

Mortgage partner

Collette started as a sales negotiator with an Estate agent in September 1996 and worked her way up the ranks to Branch Manager. In 2005, Collette moved across to become a Mortgage Advisor stating this is her “Dream Job” and hasn’t looked back. Collette is always making sure she listens to her clients and matches them with the mortgage to make their home dreams come true.

In her spare time Collette enjoys spending time with her family and regularly attends Cat Shows!!
